Accountability and Policy Analyst
Independent consultant working with state education agencies, other national and regional education associations and organizations regarding academic content and student academic achievement standards, large-scale assessment systems, educational accountability systems, and implementation of requirements set forth in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, 1994 and 2001 reauthorizations. Former state education agency administrator with extensive experience working in the public elementary and secondary education sector. Background of broad, progressive responsibility for the design, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of student support services, alternative and compensatory education programs, professional development, large-scale student achievement assessments and evaluation, statewide educational accountability systems, and public policy formulation and administration. Skilled at educational administration, problem analysis and resolution, staff leadership, oral and written communications, and interpersonal relationships.
