Pennsylvania Department of Education, Special Education Advisor
Lynda A. Lupp, serves as a Special Education Adviser at the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Bureau of Special Education (BSE). Her expertise and primary responsibility is management of the statewide assessment system for students with disabilities, specifically the alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards. She also serves as the liaison between the BSE and the Bureau of Assessment and Accountability ensuring that students with disabilities are represented within the general assessment and alternate assessment based upon modified academic achievement standards. Prior to her position at the PDE she worked as a special education teacher, building administrator, and Director of Elementary Special Education.
